Instructor for an intensive, seven-week course in video production at Garfield Community Center in Seattle, WA. The class met for four hours a day, four days a week, and included all aspects of video production from scripting and storyboarding to filming and editing.

Editor, director, and post-production supervisor for independent film

Editor/Director of a feature-length documentary film about Israel titled Woke Up Alive, which utilized footage from multiple sources including one of Israel's leading cinematographers. Duties included script writing, capturing of video footage, conversion of footage from several video formats, color correction and DVD authoring, scouting candidates for audio engineering, preparing and supervising all audio work, film promotion, web development, and marketing.

  • Communicated daily via phone and email with executive producer and other post-production personnel to ensure common direction throughout entire filmmaking process
  • Film has been accepted to six film festivals worldwide in 2010 and won Best Documentary at the Treasure Coast International Film Festival in Florida
  • Designed web site for the film and continue to manage content and updates as they occur

As a volunteer, I assist staff in helping other filmmakers and local artists, as well as contribute creative content for various projects.
