I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert in color correction. I've not only taught classes on the subject, but I've spent countless hours putting all of my work through a rigorous color correction process. To me, it's not enough to just match hues and luminosity; I take full advantage of the tools offered in the digital domain to remove the cold, harsh look of video and bring to life an image that looks more at home on the big screen.
